Gyeongseong Creature 2′ Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee’s Final Struggle

Title: ‘Gyeongseong Creature 2’ Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee’s Final Struggle… Lee Moo-saeng and Bae Hyun-sung Join the Cast

Can Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee end the ill-fated ties in Gyeongseong Creature Season 2?

The upcoming Netflix series Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 (hereafter Gyeongseong Creature 2) set to release on the 27th, is a story set in 2024 Seoul, where Tae-sang (played by Park Seo-joon) and Ho-jae (also played by Park Seo-joon), who looks identical to him, meet Chae-ok (played by Han So-hee), who survived the spring of Gyeongseong. Together, they unravel the unended ties, destiny, and ill-fated relationships stemming from Gyeongseong.

The press stills released on the 10th showcase the characters who have transitioned from 1945 Gyeongseong, shrouded in darkness, to present-day Seoul in 2024, sparking curiosity. The character Ho-jae, who closely resembles Tae-sang, the head of the renowned pawnshop Kumokdang, immediately draws attention.

Ho-jae, the deputy head of the private agency Bukang Sangsa, known for taking on any task if it pays well, infiltrates a scene where he witnesses a mysterious murder. Becoming the prime suspect, Ho-jae chases after Chae-ok, another person he encountered at the scene, to clear his name.

Chae-ok, who has lived as neither human nor monster after being consumed by Najin, works under the alias “Silver Swallow” to help find missing people. By chance, she spots Ho-jae, who looks just like Tae-sang, at the crime scene.

Her confusion is brief as Chae-ok quickly realizes that non-human entities are involved in the case and begins to uncover the truth. From scenes of Ho-jae and Chae-ok confronting each other to moments of Chae-ok being captured and Ho-jae wounded, it is evident that their journey to uncover the truth will not be smooth, heightening anticipation for the outcome.

Jeonseung Pharmaceutical, despite its seemingly ordinary appearance, is conducting secretive experiments underground. This brings to mind Gyeongseong’s past dark experiments conducted at Ongseong Hospital using Najin.

Captain Kuroko (played by Lee Moo-saeng), a central figure in Jeonseung Pharmaceutical, commands the elite Kuroko agents who operate like shadows solely for the company. With cold, ruthless eyes, he will attack without hesitation to achieve his goals. Meanwhile, Seung-jo (played by Bae Hyun-sung), who possesses extraordinary strength among the Kuroko, brutally attacks people using his tentacles, showing no intent to hide his power. A still showing Seung-jo and Chae-ok face-to-face captures the tense moment when they recognize each other as kindred spirits.

With each character’s distinct and intense portrayal, Gyeongseong Creature 2 promises an unpredictable and exciting storyline, transcending time, fate, and inescapable ill-fated relationships.

Gyeongseong Creature 2 will be released exclusively on Netflix on the 27th.
