Yang Se-hyung Acknowledges Dating Rumors with Park Na-rae… “I Will Do What My Wife Asks” (‘Homes’)
On the October 3rd broadcast of MBC’s ‘Where is My Home’ (directed by Jeong Da-hee, Kim Moon-seob, Kim Jin-kyung, Kim Wan-cheol), former national fencing team member Kim Joon-ho and former national judo team member Jo Joon-ho will make an appearance.
On this day’s broadcast, a family of four, who have decided to buy a house, will appear as clients. The couple has lived in a rented house since their marriage, and they mention that after the birth of their two children, they lack both space for the kids to play and storage space due to the increasing number of belongings. The family plans to secure a home using a newborn special loan before their second child turns 24 months old. They prefer the districts of Suji-gu and Giheung-gu in Yongin, hoping to find a place that is within a 1 hour and 30 minutes commute by public transport from Munjeong Station on Line 8, where the husband works. They desire a space where their children can play and ample storage, as well as a daycare and elementary school within walking distance. Their budget is around 600 million won, including the newborn special loan.
On the supporting team, former national fencing representative Kim Joon-ho and former national judo representative Jo Joon-ho will lead, while Yang Se-chan will represent the opposing team. The three of them head to Sinbong-dong, Suji-gu, Yongin. The properties they introduce include an apartment surrounded by Gwanggyo Mountain, which, although on the first floor, offers privacy due to its elevated location.
Discovering a private outdoor terrace connected to the living room, Kim Joon-ho remarks, “The length of a fencing piste is 14 meters, and this is about the same length. The clients’ children could even have fencing matches here.” Jo Joon-ho shares, “When I was young, we didn’t have this kind of space, so my mom sent my siblings and me to judo classes. If we had a place like this, I think I would have done fencing too.” In response to Yang Se-chan pointing out, “You’d need longer legs for fencing,” Jo Joon-ho humorously replies, “If I had done fencing, I would have grown taller~.”
As the three explore inside, they discover photos of an idol band and various merchandise displayed in a cabinet in the living room. It turns out that the homeowner’s second son is a member of the boy band ‘Hi-Fi Unicorn,’ which debuted in 2023. Traces of the member’s workspace and daily life are scattered throughout the house, catching their attention.
Yang Se-chan asks Jo Joon-ho, “If you were to have children, would you have them pursue your current career?” To which Kim Joon-ho, who is raising Eun-woo and Jung-woo, responds, “I have no intention of doing that at all. Not just fencing, I won’t have them do any sports.” He adds, “It’s tough with injuries, and my standards for my kids will likely go up.”
Yang Se-chan agrees, stating, “I won’t have my kids become comedians either. The title of ‘someone’s younger brother’ or ‘someone’s son’ is really tough.” He confesses, “I also found it really difficult to be called Yang Se-hyung’s younger brother.”
Meanwhile, Park Na-rae, watching this unfold in the studio, declares, “If my husband is a comedian, I will definitely have my kids do it!” This naturally draws the attention of Yang Se-hyung, who responds, “I’ll have to do what my wife says~,” leading to a lively atmosphere in the studio.
The episode will be aired on Thursday, October 3rd, at 10 PM on MBC’s ‘Where is My Home.’
