Why I don’t enjoy Korean novels

It can be summed in one word: “pacing”.
The pace in Korean novels is too fast.
At the end of the day, I believe money is responsible for it all.
Korean novels have about 30 chapters to go premium while Chinese novels have 100.
You need to get to the hook as quickly as possible in Korean novels
Someone pointed out in a review how you should give a Korean novel 20 chapters for it to really begin.
I couldn’t help but have a little derisive laugh, “you need to start paying before the real story begins”
that was what I heard.
Japanese novels..well webnovels, on the other hand, are the opposite. The pacing is usually too slow but since they make zero money off of it, I am sure no one is surprised
I hope I gave you a thing or two to think about
